Please note that personally identifiable information is used only to provide you with a more enjoyable, convenient online experience and to help us identify and/or provide information, products or services that may be of interest to you. The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Owner, the Data may be accessible to the marketing and sales department, involved with the operation of this website or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Owner at any time.
We will process your data if the following applies:
You have submitted your data via the contact form as an inquiry; we will answer your inquiry and on occasion follow up to make sure you received the answer/communication from us.
The Data is processed at the Blue Ecology Institute Foundation operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. Depending on your location, data transfers may involve transferring your Data to a country other than your own. You are entitled to learn about the legal basis of Data transfers to a country outside the European Union or to any international organization governed by public international law or set up by two or more countries, such as the UN, and about the security measures taken by the Owner to safeguard their Data.
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for, which is to answer the inquiry that was submitted and to follow up on the inquiry based on the instructions received. Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after the expiration of the retention period.

Accessing & Updating Your Personal Information & Preferences
You have the right to withdraw consent where you have previously given it to the processing of their Personal Data. If you have completed the contact form and wish to not receive any emails from us in response to your inquiry, you may notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will delete or otherwise remove your personal data should we receive such a request.
If any user who receives an email from the Site and would prefer not to receive such communications in the future, you may send an email to email@example.com. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to implement your opt-out requests promptly, but you may still receive communications from us for up to ten business days as we process your request. Opting out of our newsletter is handled by our third-party newsletter service and available via an opt-out link in each email.
Children’s Privacy & Parental Controls
We do not solicit any personal information from children. If you are not 13 or older, you are not authorised to use the Site. Parents should be aware that there are parental control tools available online that can be used to prevent children from submitting information online without parental permission or from accessing material that is harmful to minors.
